Already thinking 2012

Can you believe this year is coming to a close already?  As captain of Team Coconutter Strutters I would like to go on and on about how proud I am of everyone who walked and crewed the Susan G. Komen 3Day for a Cure this year.  Collectively our Michigan and Atlanta teams raised $52,141.11!!!

But, our journey is not over.

In the last year I personally have lost 3 family members to cancer.  THREE!  I am so mad at this disease it makes me sick.  I could cry, but that's not going to help anyone so instead... I raise loads of money so I can walk 60 miles.  Those 60 miles give me a glimpse of hope.
