The Traveling Bake Sale for the “east side” Coconutter Strutters was a success! With the help of Tomi's organization and energy, we were able to conduct our ‘bake sale’ for 13 hours at a variety of locations, bringing in about $500.A HUGE thanks to Tomi’s dad and Aunt Penny who did a bunch of baking over the weekend to add onto what Tomi and I made ourselves! The employee’s of the City of Ann Arbor are always very generous and supportive for our cause, and enjoyed out bake sale goodies showing up on their office floors rather then having to find us in City Hall’s lobby! The “traveling” aspect of the bake sale will be a continued practice even when we have a permanent stand for future sales!
